CAN Transceiver - ASM1042S

The ASM1042S is a high‑performance CAN FD transceiver. It supports data rates up to 5 Mbps, offers a ±30 V receiver common‑mode voltage range, and provides ±70 V bus fault protection. The device is compatible with both 3.3 V and 5 V I/O levels. It’s suitable for demanding automotive, industrial, space, and defense applications.

Designed with an advanced radiation‑hardened architecture, the ASM1042S delivers reliable operation in high‑safety environments such as commercial space and military systems. The device is AEC‑Q100 qualified. It is drop‑in compatible with TJA1042 and TCAN1042.
